1. Scope
These terms govern the sale of bento and catering by Minoru Foods (“we”) and related services (the “Service”). By placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. Orders
Orders are accepted by contact form, email or phone. An order is formed when we confirm the date, contents and price with you.
The order deadline is 15:00 the business day before delivery (15:00 two business days before for some items).
3. Prices and payment
Prices are the tax-inclusive prices shown on this site. A delivery fee may apply separately.
Payment methods and timing are as stated in the Legal Notice and Ordering & Delivery pages.
4. Delivery
We deliver to the date, time and place you specify. If delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to receive it or the address is incorrect, the price is still charged.
Delivery may be delayed by traffic or weather.
5. Cancellation and changes
Changes and cancellations are free until the order deadline. After the deadline, because ingredients have been purchased and prepared, we generally cannot accept changes or cancellations and the full amount is charged.
6. Quality, storage and allergens
Keep bento out of direct sunlight in a cool place and eat within 2 hours of delivery.
We provide allergen information when you order, but our kitchen also handles foods containing other allergens, so we cannot guarantee that cross-contact has not occurred. If you have an allergy, please consult us before ordering.
7. Returns and exchanges
Because these are perishable foods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience. If you find a foreign object, missing items or wrong items, contact us within 2 hours of delivery and we will remake or refund the item.
8. Limitation of liability
Except where caused by our fault, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the Service. Even where we are liable, our liability is limited to the price of the relevant order (except in cases of intent or gross negligence).
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Kyoto District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when necessary. Changes take effect when posted on this site.
